Reserve the library’s Adobe Creative Suite laptop to work on an individual project, or learn how to use an Adobe CS program (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and others). This SELF-GUIDED (DIY) session is 3 hours long. Government-issued ID is required.

ANC4A02 SMD and Community Meeting
ANC4A02 SMD Commissioner will be having a ANC4A02 SMD to introduce the new MPD Commander and other MPD officers will be on hand to meet you and discuss possible strategies in how we can reduce opportunities for crime in Shepherd Park given the recent uptick in crime and other incidents. Representatives from Mayor Bowser and CM Todd's office and the SPCA will be there. Please encourage your neighbors to attend.
We would be remiss for not thanking Ms. Jasmin Benab from Mayor Bower's office for working tirelessly behind the scenes to coordinate multiple schedules and find facilities and ANC4A02 Commissioner Stacey Lincoln for being responsive to the community's request and to ensure that we could schedule this meeting in such a short time frame! We need three additional drivers-shoppers in all. We DEPART from the Ledo parking lot at 9 a.m., equip ourselves with shopping carts and hand trucks and await the great unrolling of the metal doors when Costco opens at 9:30. Come out as early as 9 a.m. to setup for the annual picnic. In addition, we need volunteers to assist us in hauling everything we bought at Costco to the Lowell School field. If you need have a young person that wants to get a head start on community service hours for next school year, send them over!

Join your neighbors as we kickoff the summer at the 16th annual SPCA picnic! We have food and plenty of activities for the kids. We also will be honoring several friends and neighbors of the SPCA for their wonderful contributions to our neighborhood and Mayor Bowser and CM Todd are scheduled to attend. SPCA swag attire is encouraged but not required!
