Adobe Creative Suite Drop-in
Reserve the library’s Adobe Creative Suite laptop to work on an individual project, or learn how to use an Adobe CS program (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and others). This SELF-GUIDED (DIY) session is 3 hours long. Government-issued ID is required.

Jazz in The Parks
The Parks will host the second of a three-part summer jazz series showcasing local recording artists, musicians and vocalists from the greater Washington, DC region. The Parks invites neighbors and friends to join – everyone is welcome! Some seating will be available, but attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets to enjoy an evening of live music on the Great Lawn. The featured artists on August 18th include Cecily and Corcoran Holt. **If there should be inclement weather for any concert, Jazz in The Parks will be rescheduled for the Sunday immediately following from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Shepherd Elementary Beautification Day at Shepherd Elementary
Join the Shepherd Elementary School Community for Beautification Day. They'll be selling Shepherd t-shirts and providing ice cream to all of their volunteers! 3rd Annual Manor Park Screen on the Green at Capital City Public Charter School
Join Manor Park Citizens Association as it gears up for its 3rd Annual Screen on the Green featuring the Wizard of Oz. Screen on the Green is one of their most popular events, providing the opportunity for neighbors to gather on Capital City's beautiful grounds, share food, play games, and watch a movie together.

Councilmember Todd and the Shakespeare Theatre Company invite you to the 28th annual “Free For All” production of Romeo & Juliet at the Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street, NW).. To reserve your ticket, please email Dolly Turner at dturner@dccouncil.us by close of business Thursday, August 23rd. Ticket availability extremely limited, only Ward 4 residents are eligible. On the night of the show, pick up tickets by 7:00 PM for premium seats. All unclaimed tickets will be released at 7:15 PM.
